WHAT IS MANKIND'S GREATEST PROBLEM?

Today mankind worldwide suffers from many problems: from denial of humans rights; from famine as a result of conflict, climate and  the unequal distribution of food; from disease and natural disasters; from wars started by man leading to terrible suffering by the weak and vulnerable; from cruelty and brutality; from greed and exploitation.  None of these is to be trivialised or abandoned as worthy reasons for our serious attention and unceasing effort to find some kind of relief and solution. In addition, the failure of the economic systems by which so many countries run their affairs is leading to instability and uncertainty.   So what is going wrong?

All these problems are the symptoms of a greater  disease in which all mankind is involved - the neglect and rejection of the rule of God. The real problem is with the human heart! But God has acted to bring forgiveness, restoration and reconstruction to the human heart - through the warnings of the Bible and  through the revelation of a way back from our folly. That is why .........

ACCORDING TO THE CHRISTIAN HOLY SCRIPTURES

MANKIND'S GREATEST PROBLEM IS

THE WRATH OF GOD ON JUDGEMENT DAY!

THAT IS WHY WE NEED THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

Consider these Bible verses ...

'Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for the wrath of God remains on him.'  John 3:36

'For the wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness' Romans 1:18

'But because of your  stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when His righteousness will be revealed.' Romans 2:5

'But to those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.' Romans 2:8

'What if God, choosing to show His wrath and make His power known, bore with great patience the objects of His wrath - prepared for destruction? Romans 9:22 'Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed , which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.' Colossians 3:5,6
'They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead - Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.' 1 Thessalonians 1:9,10   'In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.' 1 Thessalonians 2:16 'For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ .'  1 Thessalonians 5:10
'So I declared on my oath in my anger, They shall never enter my rest.' Hebrews 3:11 They called to the mountains and the rocks "Fall on us" and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?' Revelation 6:16,17   'Out of His mouth comes a sharp two -edged sword with which to strike down the nations.' Revelation 19:15

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.  His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no-one knows but himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a two-edged sword with which to strike the nations. 'He will rule them with an iron sceptre.' He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has his name written KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."  The Revelation of John 19:11-16
