Texts
for Meditation
(Page 1)
The purpose in biblical meditation is not to empty our minds to see what comes into them and what scattered thoughts might occur to us: we should fill our minds with Scripture so that our minds are directed and full of God's thinking. Only then can we be sure that we are meditating on the truth and not our own subjective wanderings.
It is hoped that the following combination of pictures and texts will help you to meditate upon the greatness of God and what He has done through the person and saving works of His Only Son Jesus Christ for those who believe ....
... and the implications for how we should live our daily lives
